Bump + Baby Session | Toledo Newborn Photographer

As I near the end of my own pregnancy I recently finished up edits on this couple’s session package.  They scheduled their pregnancy session at Schedel’s Gardens, which is a very special and important place to them, and then a few weeks later, they brought their beautiful baby girl into my in-home studio for her newborn portraits.

I absolutely loved the gardens there.  They had various setups with different themes that we could work with, and plenty of open space for doing the portraits as well.  Plus, it was great being able to be around such a nice couple, and be able to anticipate the arrival of their baby with them for that brief moment.

Of course, I did have to grab a few shots of the mom by herself with the pregnancy glow going on.  Who would have guessed it was actually a pretty cold day when we did these?

Towards the end of the session, we found a gorgeous tree with pretty pink blooms.  Perfect for them, since they were expecting a girl.  Of course, we had to do the picture of them showing off that beautiful baby…and a few weeks later…

Their smiley newborn girl arrived.  She was sleepy the entire time, and so good while I did her portraits.  She was the best newborn I think that I have met so far.

With all the smiles she did give, I’m sure she was dreaming away…most likely about some milk or mommy and daddy snuggles, since that is the life of a newborn.

I seriously could not get over how adorable and little she was.  I really enjoyed being able to follow her journey from before being born to after being born.  I can’t wait to see how she grows!

If you would like to schedule a bump+baby plan, I am offering them, but only starting in late August on, since we’re currently expecting our own little bundle to make his arrival in the next 4-5 weeks, and I’m taking mid July through mid August off to heal. 🙂  Feel free to schedule your sessions for after that though if you’re in the Toledo area.  They will fill up fast.
