Some of my baby planners do the newborn, 6m and 12 month sessions, and others opt to get newborn, 3m, 6m, and 12 month portraits. This little one is a sweet baby girl that I was able to photograph as a newborn, and mom then decided to go ahead and do the baby plan. She had just turned four months today, but we made it work.
Mom brought big sister, we put on some cartoons (and did some bribery) and photographed the little one, then added in some portraits with big sis. I absolutely love how they came out, especially with some of the outfits that mom brought in to use. I doubt that Chevron or ruffles will ever get old in my book. Even with loving more neutral/natural colors and tones, I can always work in and accommodate in other things. Plus, when it’s cute stuff, I love it even more. 🙂
Anyway, here are some of the photos from her session, done right here in my home studio in Toledo, OH.
Such a cute girl. Isn’t she adorable?!
Loving a portrait with big sis in matching outfits. The girly tutu onesie looks cute on a chunky baby. 🙂
This is an outfit mom brought with her. I love the pearl accents and the matching ruffled chevron diaper cover and headband. She’s getting so big, and lifting her head up so well!
Holding your head up is a lot of hard work. Time to give this sweet girl a break and let her lay down and relax for a bit, don’t you think? I love capturing babies at this stage on their backs in a prop of some sort. This also may be my new favorite go-to prop for babies. 🙂
